About the First Foods Chart
Build confidence and enjoy fun-filled mealtime adventures with our wipe-clean First Foods Exploration Chart. Use from the early stages of weaning to track the foods your baby tries and how often. Recording each exposure to reach the recommended minimum of five times will help jog your memory and work towards the baby’s acceptance of different foods. Don’t worry if they don’t seem to take to it straight away. Keep going, and use the chart to support flavour and texture exploration in a fun and convenient way.
With the help of experts, we’ve developed a practical road map at the top of the chart. It’ll help you explore all the ways your little one can experience food, supporting them to grow and stay curious. Whether baby touches, squishes, smells, or tastes it, it counts, so be sure to log it on their chart. Remember that the best time to introduce new foods is between 6 and 12 months because babies are more open to new tastes and flavours. Use your chart to maximise this window of opportunity and introduce as much variety as possible. You’ll give them the building blocks for the best start in life.
You can use your chart to inspire your meal planning, and help expand food choices as a family. And as we've included over NHS-approved first foods, and known allergens too, you can relax knowing you've covered the basics. We used the original bibado bibs for our older child, when we saw these new ones were out we had to try them! Such an improvement on an already good product!
No more Velcro makes washing them that bit simpler, the material is so much easier to rinse to save on popping them in the washing machine so often and the poppers at the back and on the sleeves are so handy.
Great designs too! A very worth the money product and definitely saves time with the clean up at the end.

We absolutely loved this coverall bib! We are currently baby led weaning, using a lot of sauce with our dinners and it kept my baby’s outfit so clean. I love that it’s long and fits over the highchair tray too because as we know, babies tend to drop food on their laps (or stash it) and we had absolutely no mess whatsoever.
